Composition:
Each gram of cream contains:
- Hydroquinone 40mg
- Tretinoin 0.5mg
- Fluocinolone acetonide 0.1mg
Indication:
- Indicated for short-term treatment of moderate to severe melasma of the face, in the presence of measures for sun avoidance, including the use of sunscreens.
- LUMIQUIN cream contains corticosteroids, retinoids, and the depigmenting agent is not indicated for the maintenance treatment of melasma.
- The safety and efficacy of LUMIQUIN cream in the treatment of hyperpigmentation conditions other than melasma of the face have not been studied.
How to use:
- Apply a thin film of the cream to the areas of melasma once daily at night, at least 30 minutes before bedtime, after cleansing the face.
- Kept away from the eyes, nose, or angle of the mouth.
- Usage is not recommended for more than 8 weeks, or as directed by your medical physician. Do not use occlusive dressing.
- If local irritation persists or becomes severe, application of the medication should be discontinued, and contact your physician.
- To keep from dry conditions, patients may use moisturizers and/or cosmetics every morning after cleansing the face.
- Avoid sun exposure and use sunscreen with SPF 30 or greater to protect the medicated area from sun exposure.
- Therapeutics effect may be observed as early as 4 weeks. If no change occurs, the use of the medication should be discontinued.
